Terms of Service
The standard terms that apply to UGA Labs appraisal engagements and to use of this website.
Scope of engagement
Each appraisal is prepared for a stated intended use and intended user. Use of a report for any other purpose, or reliance by any other party, is not authorized.
Professional standards
Every appraisal is developed for its stated purpose using appropriate research, professional judgment, and clearly defined assignment conditions. Any relevant prior business relationship or financial interest will be disclosed when required.

Fees
Fees are charged as a flat rate per item or an hourly professional rate, quoted in writing before work begins. Fees are never contingent on appraised value, findings, or a subsequent event.
Client property
Items are logged against a signed take-in receipt and held securely while in our custody. Clients are responsible for disclosing any known treatments, repairs or prior documentation.
Limitations
An appraisal is an opinion of value as of a specific effective date and is not a guarantee of sale price, insurability, or future value. Value conclusions may change with market conditions.
